Prepare to enter a magic realm and walk among knights and wizards, dragons and enchantresses. This year’s annual Heartland Humane Society Fundraiser, Wine & Whiskers, is inviting you to don your finest attire and perhaps your shiniest shield and join us for “A Tail of Mutts & Magick.” The auction and dinner will be held March 8, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center on the Oregon State University campus.


The event, which always sells out, is the biggest fundraiser Heartland holds during the year, and is critical to the success of the shelter. It includes a silent and live auction and catered dinner, as well as wine and hard cider. The themed event will bring a world of castles and fairy forests to life, and guests are invited to arrive in costume if they wish. Inspiration for this year’s event can be drawn from the world of fantasy and magic, whether you’re channeling your inner Merlin or decide to take the black with the Knight’s Watch. 


All funds raised support the programs of Heartland Humane Society. At Heartland we serve the animals and families of Benton County. Our organization provides an open door animal shelter where we care for approximately 1700 animals each year. Programs include lost & found services, affordable adoptions, pet foster care, Safe Housing Program, humane education programs, pet food bank, and behavior counseling referrals.
